Q. If I purchase online, when and how do we get tickets?

A. After payment, a voucher will be sent to you by email or SMS.

Q. Can I change the date of my tour after I buy it?

A. Yes, if you cannot use the ticket on the day, then just keep the voucher and use it on a different day, no need to rebook. (Not available on Lunch Cruise, Rottnest day tours and Escape the City products) Your ticket is valid for 6 months after purchase.

Q. Where do I redeem my voucher?

A. You can redeem your voucher on board the bus at any of our 15 stops throughout the city and Kings Park.

Q. Can I purchase tickets on the bus or do I have to buy online?

A. You can buy on board the bus direct from the driver, cash or credit card. However there is a special promotion on line and most of the tickets are cheaper on the web site

Q. Can I present my booking confirmation via my smart phone or tablet?

A. Yes, there is no requirement to print the voucher when bought off our web site.

Q. Where can I start the tour?

A. You can jump on board at any of the 15 stops around the city. See the Map and Timetable tab along the top of the web site.

Q. How long is the tour?

A. The full tour takes just under 2 hours to complete. You can either stay on board the whole way round or hop on and off as often as you wish throughout the day.

Q. Are children welcome on board?

A. Absolutely, children love our open top buses! They are entertained on board by commentary by Kev the Green Kangaroo. (Station 2 on board the bus)

Q. Is the Commentary available in my language?

A. We have commentary in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Indonesian, Malay, Korean, Japanese, and Hindi

Q. What does it mean that the tickets are valid for 24 or 48 hrs?

A. The Classic Ticket is valid for 24 hours. It entitles you to use the buses during operational hours, starting from the time you begin your tour until that same time the following day. So if you board the bus at 12pm for example, your ticket will be valid until 12pm the following day on a 24 hr ticket. The 48 hr ticket extends this to 12pm the next day

Q. Are your buses wheelchair accessible?

A. Yes, we have wheelchair ramps on our buses

Q. Can I bring a pram on board?

A. Yes, prams can be parked downstairs so long as they have a working brake and can fold.

Q. Do you have toilets on board?

A. No, but we have 2 short toilet breaks during the 2 hr loop, one in Kings Park and the other at Barrack St Jetty

Q. Are you open Public Holidays?

A. Yes, we are open most Public holidays, but please check the website for up to date information.

We are closed on Good Friday, ANZAC Day (April 25th) Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day and open on all the others.

Q. Do you open on Sundays?

A. Yes, we are open 7 days a week in the city. But this is subject to change. Please make sure you check the notice at the top of the website for up to date days of operation.

Q. Do you accept Companion Cards?

A. Yes, the person with the Companion Cards can travel free of charge on our buses so long as they are bringing along either an adult or child. You can book these at the same time as booking the normal tickets. It is however only valid for the hop on hop off bus tour, no packages.

Q. What is your refund policy?

A. Please choose carefully. Refunds are only available 24 hrs before the day of travel. You can choose between a refund, exchange or credit where tours are have been wrongly described, are different to the tour purchased on the website or doesn't do what it is supposed to do. A 5% fee will be charged for cancellations.
